Hey, I’ve got some heartwarming news to share with you! It’s about a special kitty named Dexter, who, at the ripe old age of 20, finally found his forever home. Let’s dive into his incredible story.
Dexter arrived at an animal shelter severely underweight and desperately in need of love and care. But when Jill Williams laid eyes on him, she knew she had to give this senior kitty a loving family and a place to spend his golden years.
Now, as soon as Dexter stepped into his new home, he discovered that Jill was not only a cat mom but also a mom to two boys and three dogs. And you know what? Dexter was absolutely smitten!
He showered those two boys with an abundance of love. Nuzzling into their necks, rubbing his face and body against them for hours on end. It was clear that Dexter had found his human companions and couldn’t be happier.
Jill shares that Dexter’s favorite things in the world are those two boys and his “Wolfpack.” He has a special bond with his 120 lb wolf-sister, Flora. They’re best friends, sleeping together and snuggling all day long. Isn’t that just adorable?
Considering Dexter’s a senior kitty, he has quite the appetite. Fancy Feast is his go-to meal, but it has to be the fanciest or he’ll give it a swift knock off the table. He loves finding sunbeams to bask in, sleeping on his human children at night, and they spoil him rotten. Dexter sure knows how to live the good life!
When it’s mealtime, Dexter becomes quite vocal and grumpy-sounding, demanding his dinner. Jill says he won’t leave you alone until he gets what he wants. He’s definitely the king of the household, ruling with his charming but demanding meows.
And when it’s nap time, Dexter loves nothing more than to snuggle with one of his best friends, be it his human companions or plushy toys. He’s a loving kitty who always wants to keep his humans company.
You can watch an adorable video of Dexter’s first day with his new family. It’s a beautiful testament to the love and happiness he found in his final years.
Now, Dexter may have sadly passed over the rainbow bridge, but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He was truly loved and cherished during his time with Jill and her family.
Dexter, you may be gone, but you’ll never be forgotten. Rest in peace, sweet kitty.
