Let me introduce you to Max, the Canadian Lynx, who is quite the big baby! He’s not just any ordinary lynx though, he’s an educational animal ambassador with a mission to raise awareness about the endangered Canada Lynx and inspire people to protect their environment and wildlife.

Max was born in May 2011 at a zoo, so he lives in captivity. While he’s not completely domesticated, he’s been humanized to some extent. However, he still retains his wild tendencies.

One thing his caretakers want to emphasize is that Max is not declawed. It’s important to ensure his well-being and natural behavior. And let me tell you, he’s got quite the personality!

In the video, you’ll see Max taking a moment to enjoy a good scratching session before settling down for his meal. He weighs around 40 pounds during winter and about 34 pounds in summer. Oh, and don’t be fooled by his fluffy appearance in the video. He’s got about 4 inches of fur that makes him look, well, a bit chubby! But hey, it’s all part of his majestic lynx charm.

Now, the video was not filmed in someone’s home but in Max’s indoor enclosure. He has his own special rug with his fur, straw, and other scents that he loves. And like any cat, he’s not a fan of the vacuum cleaner! Max also has outdoor housing where he spends most of his time, enjoying the natural elements.

So, if you’re ready to witness the awesomeness of Max the Canadian Lynx, make sure to watch the video. He’s truly a remarkable ambassador for his species, and he’s here to educate and captivate us with his unique presence.
