This clever mama cat, whom they named Calie, found a unique way to communicate. She turned into a little guide, leading Mel and Kurt to a spot a few streets away. And guess what they found? Five tiny, adorable kittens waiting for their chance at a better life.
Mel, Kurt, and Calie’s story didn’t end there. Nope, not by a long shot. They rescued all six of them – Calie and her precious kittens.
The kittens, Zia, Cheffy, Norie, and Corazon, are now three months old and as mischievous as ever. They nap together in a cuddle puddle by the window and even ride on a robot vacuum cleaner!
And guess what? Calie, now spayed and two years old, has retired from the tough life on the streets. She’s living her best life indoors, pampered and loved by her foster family.
