When Claire stumbled upon a homeless cat hiding under a car on her way to work in Montreal, Canada, she had no idea it would lead to such an adorable adventure!
Concerned for the scared kitty, Claire returned during her lunch break to find the calico still there, seemingly waiting for help.
Despite being frightened, the kitty allowed Claire to approach, almost as if she was asking for assistance. With gentle hands, Claire scooped her up and brought her back to the office, where she provided food, water, and a much-needed rest for the little calico.
Wanting to reunite the kitty with her owner, Claire asked around the neighborhood, but no one claimed her. With no home to return to, Claire decided to take her in and arranged a vet visit. That’s when they discovered the surprise: the kitty was pregnant with three little bundles of joy!
With the help of her friend Hadrian and a local rescue group called Chatons Orphelins Montréal, Claire found a foster home for the kitty, now named Ciboulette. Adjusting quickly to indoor life, Ciboulette soon sought attention from her new human friends and even went into labor one evening, calling for Hadrian’s presence as she gave birth to three adorable kittens: Minici, Arbok, and Mary, all with extra toes.
Ciboulette proved to be a fantastic mom, while Hadrian made sure she had everything she needed. As the kittens grew, they became more adventurous, spending their days playing and exploring their surroundings.
At five weeks old, the kittens are healthy, plump, and starting to eat solid food, with mom always ready to provide a snack. It’s a heartwarming tale of an unexpected journey that led to a beautiful family with plenty of jellybean toes to go around!
