These little furballs, just about 10-12 days old, found their way to Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue with their momma cat, Lainey, in tow. They’d come from a tough hoarding situation, but thanks to Sarah Kelly and her rescue team, they were getting a fresh start.
Lainey, being the protective momma she is, wasted no time snuggling her babies close to her belly, keeping them safe and sound. And let me tell you, she’s a real doting and protective cat mama!
With Monica, their foster mom, providing a cozy room and plenty of noms, Lainey and her little ones were settling into their new digs just fine.
But, like any new mom, Lainey was a bit jittery at first. Monica gave her the space and time she needed to relax, all while making sure everyone was well taken care of.
In just a few days, though, Lainey started to let her guard down. With yummy food at her paw-tips and her babies growing stronger by the day, she began to trust Monica more and more.
The kittens, Libby, Lenny, Lynx, and Linkin, were growing like weeds, too! They were getting more active, with Linkin and Lenny leading the charge in exploring their new world.
Meanwhile, Libby, the littlest of the bunch, was determined to keep up with her siblings, steadily gaining weight and holding her own in kitten wrestlemania.
And as the days went by, Lainey started to realize that Monica was a friend, not a foe. She even let her hold the babies without whisking them away to their hidey-hole right away.
With Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue on their side, Lainey and her babies were thriving. And for this proud momma, that’s all she could ask for!
