Meet Wen, a college student in Xi’an, China, who just can’t help showing off her furry friend, Ba Dun, on social media. You know how cats often get a bad rap for being aloof and not too affectionate? Well, that stereotype doesn’t apply to Wen’s cat at all.

In fact, Ba Dun is so attached to Wen that she decided to bring him to class one day. Now, you might be thinking, “Pets aren’t allowed in the classroom, right?” Well, you’re absolutely correct. So, Ba Dun had to go undercover.

In a video that Wen shared on Douyin (the Chinese equivalent of TikTok), you can see Ba Dun sitting in an open drawer under her desk. It’s a pretty tight fit, but the curious kitty seems surprisingly calm about the whole situation.

Wen explained, “Ba Dun kept cuddling up to my leg and looking really sad because he wanted me to stay with him. But I was running late for my class. I couldn’t bear letting him down, so I brought him with me to the classroom.”

Now, here’s the fun part. Ba Dun remained as quiet as a mouse throughout the entire class. The lecturer didn’t have a clue that there was a cat hiding under the desk. It was only after the video went viral on Douyin that the cat’s secret was out.

And speaking of viral, this adorable video has garnered over 880,000 views! Viewers were particularly impressed by Ba Dun’s cute appearance and well-behaved nature. One user even wrote, “Look at those big, curious eyes! He is studying hard as well.”

So, there you have it – a heartwarming tale of a determined student and her clever kitty who managed to sneak into class without anyone noticing. Who could resist such a heartwarming story, right?
