Meet Crosby, the sweet dog who went through a tough time losing his cat and dog best friends within just six months. Suddenly, both of his pals were gone, leaving him feeling pretty lonely.
Now, don’t get us wrong, Crosby was still a very good boy, but there was definitely something missing in his life.
One day, his human returned home from work, and something caught her eye – Crosby was behaving strangely. Instead of the usual enthusiastic welcome, he led her straight to the bathtub. What she found there left her completely surprised – a little kitten!
“This kitty was meowing up a storm, I’d never seen this kitten before,” Crosby’s mom recalled. “It seems to me that Crosby must have brought her inside. She has an uncanny resemblance to the kitty we lost six months ago.”
Curious about the kitten’s background, she asked around the neighborhood, but no one seemed to know if she had a home.
After a trip to the vet, they discovered that the kitten wasn’t microchipped but had been spayed just a few days earlier. The vet explained that the local animal shelter was overflowing with more than 300 cats, making the chances of this little kitten being euthanized quite high.
The vet suggested that she either put the kitty outside to see if she could find her way home or welcome her into the family. So, Crosby got a new furry friend, and they decided to name her Raina Lil Ray Ray.
These two have hit it off and become the best of friends. Crosby is over the moon to have some company in the house once again.
