Hold on to your catnip, folks! TikTok user @bennynazareth had an awkward encounter with his neighbor’s cat while they both stood on their balconies in Milan, Italy.
Meeting a cat can go several ways, but this encounter was downright uncomfortable.
The neighbor’s cat was enjoying some sun on her balcony when @bennynazareth appeared.
We can only guess what was going through her mind as she shared her sunbathing session with a stranger. Unfortunately, the cat didn’t seem too pleased with the uninvited guest.
In his TikTok video, @bennynazareth jokingly called the cat “a stalker,” but it seems like only one of them was filming the other that day, and without asking for permission.
Let’s face it, cats have moods, and they’re not afraid to let you know how they feel. This feline friend made it clear that she was not interested in making any new friends.
But who knows?
Maybe with time, the icy relations between the two will thaw.
Or maybe the cat’s intense stare was her way of suggesting that @bennynazareth find a new place to move to. Either way, let’s hope for some peaceful balcony moments in the future.
