Imagine this: you’re coming home after a long day’s work, ready to kick back and relax, when suddenly, you walk in and find a surprise guest in your living room – a cat! But here’s the kicker: you don’t even own a cat!
That’s exactly what happened to Nigeltown, who shared his wild tale on Imgur. “I came home to find this little floof just chillin in my house. He must have come in through an open window, I don’t own a cat,” he recounted.
This furry intruder had no collar and was meowing up a storm. Quick on his feet, Nigel dashed to the store to grab some kitty essentials. And let me tell you, that cat was one happy camper, meowing and purring away as he chowed down.
After a neighborhood canvas turned up empty-handed, Nigel took his newfound feline friend to the vet. No chip, but a few pesky worms and fleas – nothing a little TLC couldn’t fix.
And talk about making himself at home! This cat, now named Buddy, wasted no time getting comfy. From tearing around like a little tornado to chilling with Nigel, he was living his best life.
Despite chatting up all the neighbors, there were no leads on Buddy’s origins. It was like he dropped out of thin air!
Buddy’s antics didn’t stop there – he even discovered the joy of the bathtub! “He obviously feels right at home, as soon as he found the bathroom he leapt straight into the tub!” Nigel chuckled.
And the best part? Nigel and Buddy formed an instant bond. “I named him Buddy and he seems to love his new place,” Nigel beamed. “My Buddy boy. He adopted me.”
