Rocco’s journey began when he was discovered alone in the middle of a walkway. Kitty of Angels, an animal rescue, stepped in to give this tiny feline a shot at a brighter future.
Palm-sized and grappling with severe upper respiratory infections, Rocco needed urgent vet care. Lizzie Lewis, founder of the rescue, shared, “He was treated and released to his foster home shortly after.”
Despite being less than half the size for his age and diagnosed with congenital hypothyroidism, Rocco proved to be a fighter. Randi McQueen, his foster mom, provided round-the-clock care, ensuring he was well-fed, warm, and never short of love.
From a late bloomer to a spirited little adventurer, Rocco overcame developmental delays and health challenges. With Randi’s dedicated care and the help of a specialist, he made strides every day, surprising everyone with his resilience.
After three months of tender loving care, Rocco transformed into a beautiful young cat with boundless energy and affection. Randi, who had fallen in love with Rocco during his health battles, officially adopted him.
As the holiday season approached, Rocco eagerly embraced the festive spirit. From inspecting the Christmas tree to assisting with gift wrapping, this dapper tuxedo cat donned a bowtie, looking adorable for the occasion.
Though Rocco may be smaller than his counterparts, he has a heartwarming personality and a forever human, Randi, who adores him to bits. Cheers to Rocco’s first holiday season in his forever home!
