So, there was this adorable little kitten who was found all by himself in an attic. Can you believe it? Luckily, a kind-hearted person discovered him and decided to take him home.

But as they soon realized, this little furball needed more care than they could provide.

So, they reached out to a local animal rescue organization called Chatons Orphelins Montreal. They wanted to make sure this little guy got the help he needed.

The rescue took him in and named him Loom. Poor Loom was in rough shape. He was really skinny and had some tummy troubles. At just 360 grams, he was way underweight for a 5-week-old kitten.

They wasted no time taking him to the vet, where he received some much-needed fluids, medication, and plenty of tender loving care. He was so weak that he needed assistance to eat and gain some weight.

But despite it all, Loom tried his best to stay awake and take in everything happening around him. He was so grateful to finally have someone looking after him.

Loom’s foster caretaker was amazing. They fed him every two hours, day and night, and made sure he stayed warm with a constant heat source.

After 48 hours of round-the-clock care, Loom started to regain his strength and began eating on his own again. What a relief!

To keep Loom company as the only kitten in his foster home, he was given a little plush toy. And guess what? Loom fell head over paws in love with that toy.

He carried it with him everywhere he went. He would wrestle with it, try to groom it, and even fall asleep next to it. It became his constant companion, cheering him on as he learned to eat from a dish like a big kitty.

The transformation in Loom has been incredible. He has turned into a social and affectionate young cat, loving both humans and other feline friends.

He’s always curious and ready for new adventures. If he spots a tote bag or a paper bag on the floor, he’ll jump right in! And climbing to the top of a cat tree? That’s his idea of a good time.

Loom is bursting with energy now, a far cry from how he was when he was first found. He’s discovered the joys of sunbathing and watching the world outside through the window.

And when he finally gets tired, you’ll find him snuggled up next to his plushy friend, drifting off to sleep. It’s clear that nothing makes him happier than sinking into soft blankets with his trusty toy by his side.

Loom has become quite the cuddler. He loves sleeping near his favorite humans and follows them everywhere. After they take a shower, he’ll even give them a little sniff inspection. And when he wants to find them, he lets out the tiniest chirps. So adorable!

From a lonely stray in an attic to a happy indoor cat, Loom’s journey has been remarkable. He now has a plushy friend to keep him company and lots of people who absolutely adore him.
