So, picture this: two adorable tabby kittens, once abandoned on the streets of Kuwait, embark on a remarkable journey across continents to find their perfect forever home together.
Back in Kuwait, these little furballs were in a sorry state, just skin and bones, and not feeling too great. The kind folks at Kuwait Animal Aid swooped in to save them. One of the kittens, Shiva, was born with a congenital deformity affecting her face.
But here’s the kicker: despite the odds stacked against them, these kittens didn’t give up. With round-the-clock care and love, Shiva and her sister Vishnu started to perk up. Unfortunately, their third sibling, Amani, faced some health struggles but was also on the road to recovery.
Thanks to the relentless efforts of the rescue volunteers, these “unwanted” kittens got a shot at a better life. Shiva, despite her challenges, was a ball of energy, bouncing around and playing like there was no tomorrow.
Fast forward to their journey to California – Rafiki’s Rescue in Anaheim welcomed them with open arms. Shiva finally got the specialized care she needed.
“When they arrived, they were instantly some of the most loving, affectionate kitties we had ever met — so full of love, joy, and so much energy,” Megan from Rafiki’s Rescue gushed.
Despite her condition, Shiva was always on the move, living life to the fullest. With love and support, Shiva and Vishnu thrived and caught the eye of a wonderful couple who decided to foster them, and guess what? It was a match made in heaven!
Their sister Amani also made the journey to Rafiki’s Rescue and is now on the lookout for her forever home too.
Now, Shiva and Vishnu spend their days basking in love, purring endlessly, and snuggling up with their new family – including some new puppy pals. It’s a happy ending for these once homeless kittens, proving that love knows no bounds.
