Allow me to introduce you to two adorable feline friends – Cookies & Cream and Caramel, also known as CC and Cara.
Their story begins when they were found abandoned in a parking lot, along with four of their siblings. A kind-hearted soul heard their cries and discovered them in a box left all alone. So, this compassionate individual reached out to Sparkle Cat Rescue for some much-needed assistance.
That’s when Sarah Kelly, one of the foster volunteers from the rescue, stepped in to lend a helping hand. She graciously agreed to take care of these precious kittens until they were ready to find their forever homes.
Under Sarah’s loving care, these kittens made a remarkable recovery and grew by leaps and bounds. But here’s the twist that makes this story extra special – Cookies & Cream and Caramel formed an inseparable bond. They were like two peas in a pod, so Sarah knew that they had to be adopted together.
These calico cuties are the epitome of a dynamic duo. When it’s nap-time, you’ll find them snuggled up together in a cozy bed, their arms and legs wrapped around each other. It’s heart-meltingly adorable!
Now, as for their siblings, they’ve all found their forever homes. However, seven months have passed since the day they were discovered in that parking lot, and these delightful sisters are still patiently waiting for someone to call their own.
During Christmas time, Sarah even helped CC and Cara write a letter to Santa, expressing their heartfelt wish for a forever home. As Sarah puts it, “Cara and CC are so patient to have waited this long. It’s frustrating how these young, sweet kittens will be overlooked for smaller ones. While they may not be as tiny as the next small kitten, they are just as loving, special, and deserving of a forever family of their own.”
You’ll often spot the calico sisters hanging out by the front door, peering outside, and watching the world go by. It’s a heartwarming sight, and we can only hope that one day soon, their forever family will walk through that door.
