So, there was this adorable little kitten named Colin Robinson who found himself all alone at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA). He was just two days old when he was rescued, and he needed round-the-clock bottle feedings to survive.

For the first couple of weeks, Colin received special care from a dedicated volunteer. But as he grew, he started feeling lonely and cried constantly. That’s when he needed some friends to keep him company, as Penny Richards, a foster volunteer at AWLA, explained to us.

Around the same time Colin was in need of companionship, a litter of four kittens (Nadja, Nandor, Laszlo, and Guillermo) arrived at AWLA. They had been found on a pallet that was delivered from Richmond to Arlington, Virginia. Penny stepped in to foster them and took on the responsibility of bottle-feeding them.

Then, she received a call about Colin, the little lonesome kitten. He was about the same age as her new four kittens, so she gladly agreed to take care of him too.

When Colin was introduced to the littermates, something amazing happened. Without any hesitation, he waddled over to them and decided he would become part of their gang. He was eager for a friend, and the four kittens accepted him right away, as Penny joyfully shared with us.

From that moment on, Colin was a happy little guy. He played and wrestled with his new siblings, and they didn’t mind his energetic nature at all. They included him in all their activities as if he had always been one of them. They even cuddled with him to show their love, forming adorable purr piles during nap time.

With his newfound family, Colin’s personality began to shine. He’s become a funny little guy who loves bouncing around and play-fighting with his siblings.

He’s also an enthusiastic eater and enjoys his bottle and milk. But Colin isn’t just all about playtime. He’s a people-cat too, seeking out his foster mom for pets and cuddles. He purrs contentedly after meals and loves spending time on her lap.

When playtime is over, you can often find Colin napping among his feline friends. He rests his head on them, and they happily keep him company, serving as his cozy “pillows.”

The once-lonesome Colin has now found his forever family of four, learning and growing alongside his new siblings. He’s the happiest he’s ever been, and his journey of friendship and love is truly heartwarming.
