Picture this: Özgür Anlı is sitting at a cozy cafe in Turkey, sipping tea and chatting with a friend when he suddenly spots something that makes his heart skip a beat. His sister’s cat, Latte, was in a perilous position – hanging off the edge of a window 50 feet up in an apartment building across the street.
Without a second thought, Anlı sprang into action. He positioned himself under the window, fearing that the cat might fall at any moment. And he was right – as surveillance footage later revealed, the poor feline was losing her grip and plummeting towards the ground.
But then, a miracle happened – Anlı’s arms were there to catch her. “I opened my arms as a reflex,” he recalled. “I started to love the cat after I caught her.”
Latte was unharmed, and Anlı had saved the day. His sister was understandably grateful for his heroic actions. “He’s a hero,” she gushed. “We have taken measures now so that something like this will not happen again.”
And as for Latte? Well, let’s just say she’s definitely feeling the love from her rescuer. “Every time I visit my sister, Latte snuggles up to me,” Anlı revealed. “I think she knows I saved her life.”
