One particular Maine Coon beauty named Molly became the star of an adorable video documenting her growth from a tiny 2-week-old kitten to a magnificent 1-year-old cat.
But don’t let Molly’s initial size fool you! Maine Coons take their time to reach their full potential. While Molly may have appeared small for her breed as a kitten, it would take several years of growth for her to blossom into her majestic stature.
Females, like Molly, tend to be smaller than their male counterparts, and Maine Coons typically reach adulthood between the ages of 3 and 5. It’s a slow and steady journey to becoming the regal cats they are meant to be!
Fast forward to Molly’s current age of 5, and she has truly transformed into a stunning, fully grown Maine Coon. Her devoted human parents proudly shared with us that Molly has become a sweet and affectionate feline companion.
“She has a knack for waking us up (almost) every morning, demanding our attention and a hearty breakfast. Sneaking onto our kitchen counters when we’re not looking is her specialty, even though she knows she shouldn’t,” they playfully confessed.
Molly possesses a remarkable blend of love and gentleness, accompanied by a vocal nature that lets her opinions be heard. Living alongside her human parents are four fellow Maine Coon siblings who make up the delightful feline clan.
Annie, the smallest and, in their opinion, the most exquisite of the bunch, holds the second position in the feline hierarchy.
Then there’s 3-year-old Albus, a charming companion full of character.
Moose, a 2-year-old, is a mama’s boy through and through.
Lobo, the youngest, shows signs of outgrowing his siblings in both size and spirit.
Molly, with her kind-hearted disposition, effortlessly gets along with her feline family members and anyone else she encounters. Her friendly, patient nature and wonderful temperament make her a beloved member of the household, as her human mom and dad happily shared with us.
“We consider ourselves truly blessed to have her as part of our lives,” they added with a grateful smile.
