A man named Tom, an EMT from Galloway Township Ambulance Squad in New Jersey, discovered two tiny kittens near his workplace.
He noticed them on camera, playfully chasing each other around the building. Concerned for their safety, Tom kept an eye out for the kittens. The next morning, he found one of them perched on top of a car engine.
Acting swiftly, Tom rescued the kitten, who was clinging desperately to the car. With determination, he managed to pry the tabby off and brought him inside, despite getting a few scratches in the process.
Tom and his partner then located the second kitten, using a heavy duty glove to safely retrieve him from the car.
Tom and his girlfriend, Emily, decided to foster the kittens, whom they named Buddy and Wally. The feline brothers quickly adapted to their new home, becoming comfortable and affectionate.
Emily reached out to her rescue organization, Kizzy’s Place, and offered to foster the kittens until they were ready for adoption.
During their time in foster care, Buddy and Wally flourished, especially when introduced to toys. Wally, in particular, formed a special bond with Arya, the couple’s dog.
He was instantly smitten with Arya and followed her around, seeking her affection. The kittens enjoy snuggling with their foster parents and playing with their canine companion.
Tom and Emily adore Buddy and Wally and are grateful they were saved in time. They emphasize the importance of checking under car hoods, especially after cold nights, to prevent similar incidents.
The bonded pair will be available for adoption around early December, but for now, they are thriving under the care of their loving foster parents and their furry friend Arya.
