This furry feline, who was about to become a mom, found herself in a bit of a pickle. She was having a hard time giving birth and her meows for help could be heard outside the local family health center in the southeastern Bitlis province.
The nurses at the health center didn’t know what to do, but they knew they had to help this kitty in need. They quickly realized that the cat was having complications and needed urgent attention.
They called in the cavalry in the form of a municipality vet, Sefer Durmuş, who took the pregnant cat to the Tatvan Municipality Stray Animal Neutering and Rehabilitation Center.
After examining the kitty, Durmuş decided that a c-section was the best way to ensure a safe delivery for both the mother and her kittens.
Luckily, everything went well and the cat gave birth to four healthy kittens. Durmuş said that the mother was in good condition after the operation.
