Every day, a stray cat would show up on a kind homeowner’s doorstep, patiently waiting for a meal.
As the cold weather set in, the homeowner reached out to a local rescuer named Nadia for help. Nadia stepped in and offered to provide shelter for the cat.
Nadia decided to take the cat to Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a rescue group in Canada, where a foster family eagerly awaited her arrival.
Little did anyone know, the cat was pregnant.
Now, this cat, who has been lovingly named Laloue, is embracing her new life in her foster home, where she recently gave birth to four healthy kittens.
Laloue is an incredibly attentive mother. She keeps her little ones clean and cozy, and her purring engine seems to be on constant overdrive, showing just how much she enjoys being a mom.
Mama Laloue has complete trust in her foster family. She allows them to hold her babies and lend a helping hand when she needs a break.
Fast forward two weeks, and the kittens are doing great. They’re eating well, gaining weight, and beginning to open their eyes to the world.
It was indeed a stroke of luck for Laloue, who once roamed the streets in search of a friendly doorstep. Her new owners welcomed her into their home just in time for her to give birth to her adorable litter of kittens.
Stories like these warm our hearts, knowing that when the time is right, Laloue’s four kittens will find loving homes of their own.
