Have you ever heard of a dog raised by cats? Well, meet Mako, the canine who’s convinced he’s one of the feline crew!
Bethany Castiller and her family were on a mission to adopt a dog when they stumbled upon Mako at the local shelter. The puppy seemed to have his heart set on them from the get-go.
Despite already having two cats, Pecan and Gizmo, the Castiller family felt Mako would fit right in. The shelter confirmed he was cat-friendly, sealing the deal for them.
And boy, were they in for a surprise! Mako didn’t just get along with the cats; he practically joined their ranks!

But Mako’s integration into the feline lifestyle didn’t stop there. Before they knew it, he was picking up cat-like habits left and right. Could it be that he spent so much time with Pecan and Gizmo that he started to believe he was one of them?
