Once upon a time, in a land far, far away (okay, it’s just Malaysia, but let’s pretend), Nur Hamizah stumbled upon a tiny, wounded kitten under her car.
The poor thing was covered in infections, dirt, and had a tuft of white fur sticking out like a sore thumb.
Being the kind-hearted soul she is, Nur decided to take action.
She coaxed the kitten, now named Meimei, into a cardboard box and took her home to receive some much-needed TLC.
The next day, Meimei was off to the vet to get the help she needed. This cat weighed only 4 pounds and had numerous open sores and other skin issues that needed immediate attention.
Despite the grim situation, Nur knew she had to try her best to save Meimei’s life.
She was already smitten with the tiny furball and was determined to give her the best care possible.
With Nur’s unwavering love and dedication, Meimei slowly started to transform. Her fur started to grow back, and it took five months for her to become the beautiful cat she is today.
Nur, being the hero she is, made sure to educate herself on the recovery process, ensuring that Meimei received the best care possible.
And let’s give a round of applause to Meimei for being a fighter!
This fluffy kitty didn’t let her rough start hold her back and is now living her best life, with plenty of snuggles, love, and treats.
Nur says that Meimei is still a bit shy around strangers, but she’s incredibly loving and sweet with her family.
Meimei’s favorite pastimes include sleeping (we can relate), eating, and just being a fabulous feline. We salute you, Nur, for taking the time to rescue and love this tiny sick kitten.
