Meet Mr. Panther, a young cat spotted hobbling around the Bronx, New York, with injured paws. He was yearning for attention, hoping someone would give him a break from the tough street life. You could tell from the get-go that he wasn’t cut out for that kind of hustle.
The awesome volunteers from Little Wanderers NYC swooped in to save the day. They managed to bring the sweet panther kitty, who they aptly named Mr. Panther, to safety. It turned out that his front paws had healed after an unfortunate car accident, but he had a “funny” walk now.
But nothing was holding Mr. Panther back from demanding all the pets and cuddles he could get. Once he was brought inside, he devoured a plate of food and then sauntered over to his rescuers, looking for all the head scratches he could get.
With a roof over his head, Mr. Panther felt right at home. No more street life for this guy – he was set on being spoiled indoors.
He had a knack for purring up a storm and nuzzling his humans, making sure he was the center of attention. He was a true snuggle bug and wanted to be pampered all day long.
After his injuries healed, Mr. Panther didn’t need surgery, just some well-deserved rest and tender loving care. So, a foster volunteer decided to make his temporary living situation even better by bringing him to their office filing room. This way, he got a safe haven and plenty of people to cozy up with.
“He’s a hit with his office colleagues. He greets them with enthusiasm in the morning and spends his days cuddled up on their laps. It’s a tough job, but Mr. Panther is on the case,” the rescue shared.
He’s also got a thing for interactive toys – flopping fish and chirping birds are his jam. He’s hoping for a forever home where he can strike the perfect balance between work and play, surrounded by loving companions.
Mr. Panther brings a dose of joy to his coworkers every single morning, warming their laps and hearts alike. His purrs fill the room, and after his time on the streets, he’s more than ready for his own happily-ever-after.
