Lisianne, living her life in Canada, had a serendipitous encounter one day when a fluffy stray cat wandered into her garden.
Seeing the kitty looking lonely and hungry, Lisianne’s heart melted. She decided to extend a helping hand by putting out some water and food.
That simple act of kindness marked the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Lisianne grew fond of the stray cat and affectionately named her Usagi.
With each passing day, Lisianne continued to care for Usagi whenever she visited the garden. This routine not only filled Usagi’s belly but also gave her the confidence to return for food and affection regularly.
As time went on, Lisianne noticed Usagi was growing bigger. It wasn’t just because of the food; Usagi was pregnant!
Despite finding another place to give birth, Usagi kept coming back to Lisianne’s garden for sustenance and companionship.
One day, Usagi surprised Lisianne by appearing on her porch with her tiny kittens, one after another, until all six were gathered there. It was as if Usagi had chosen Lisianne’s home as a safe haven for her family.
Being the angel that she is, Lisianne decided to lend a hand to the stray cat family by making space for them in her house.
Later on, Lisianne reached out to her friends at Chatons Orphelins Montréal for assistance. The kittens, suffering from breathing issues and conjunctivitis, needed urgent care.
Fortunately, with the help of Celine, a foster mom at Chatons Orphelins Montréal, all the kittens except one were receiving the necessary care.
Eventually, all the kittens were given names and found loving homes. Meanwhile, Lisianne decided to have Usagi sterilized and officially adopted her, ensuring their friendship would last a lifetime.
According to Celine, the kittens each had their own unique personalities. Tyana was sweet and cuddly, while Tynie was mischievous and adventurous. Taylor was chatty and playful, and Tales was energetic and affectionate. Sadly, Tito had a deformity in his paw, but that didn’t stop him from being playful and affectionate.
At three months old, the kittens received their vaccines and were prepared for adoption. By four months old, they all found loving forever homes, bringing joy to their new families.
