So, picture this: there’s this street-smart cat roaming around Montreal, Canada, just trying to make ends meet. And who does he turn to when he’s ready to hang up his street-cat boots? None other than the kind-hearted Celine Crom!
Celine, part of the crew at Chatons Orphelins Montréal, noticed this tomcat prowling around her place, looking all scrawny and hungry. But every time she tried to get close, he’d bolt. So, she did what any compassionate soul would do – left out some grub and H2O to ease his hunger pangs.
And just like that, a routine was born! The cat – now dubbed Luckyou – became a regular at Celine’s doorstep, though he still kept his distance. But here’s the kicker: Celine noticed something wasn’t right. Luckyou couldn’t shut his mouth properly, poor guy!
Realizing he needed some serious TLC, Celine set up a trap to take him to the vet. And wouldn’t you know it? Luckyou just strolled right in, like he was saying, “Alright, let’s do this!”
At the vet’s, it was clear Luckyou had seen better days. He was a mess, covered in gunk, with a gnarly mouth infection to boot. But Celine wasn’t backing down. Luckyou got the dental surgery he needed, even though he tested positive for FIV.
Sure, Luckyou was a bit shaken up at first – who wouldn’t be after living on the mean streets? But as he started to heal, something magical happened. That tough exterior melted away, revealing a sweet, purring ball of fur who couldn’t get enough chin scratches.
With some TLC from a foster family, Luckyou’s transformation was complete. From hissing and hiding to cuddling and meowing for attention, this guy was living his best life. And with his toothless grin and playful antics, he’s ready to find his forever home – where he’ll no doubt bring joy and purrs aplenty!
