So, over a week ago, L.J., the cool owner of Totally Rad Toyhouse in Nashville, noticed a stray cat hanging around her store. This cat was no ordinary visitor; she kept coming back. Concerned about the upcoming extreme cold, L.J. decided to find a foster home for the cat.
Little did she know, this stray superhero had a sidekick – a tiny kitten named Jarvis! Luckily, L.J. didn’t miss the cue, and she followed the cat to their cozy hideout. “She didn’t know the cat had a baby,” said Jenn, a foster volunteer.
In the nick of time, L.J. rescued Pepper Potts (the cat) and her sidekick Jarvis from their wooden sanctuary. Jenn stepped in to foster this dynamic duo, turning their lives around.
Pepper and Jarvis weren’t too sure about their new digs at first, but with treats and pets galore, they quickly warmed up to indoor life. “They greet me at the door and roll over for belly rubs,” shared Jenn.
Just a few days ago, Pepper was a street-savvy mama, and now she’s living the indoor life, playing with Jarvis like there’s no tomorrow. “The way she kept herself and Jarvis alive outdoors in sub-zero conditions is just amazing,” added Jenn.
Pepper, the protective mama, follows Jarvis around to ensure he’s safe. They play, wrestle, and snuggle up for cozy naps. These two started the New Year with loads of love and cuddles in the comfort of their foster home.
And guess what? In about two weeks, they’ll be up for adoption, and they’re looking for a forever home where they can continue their adorable escapades together.
