While Officer Rowsey and her partner were out on patrol, they came across a tiny kitten all by itself, looking scared and distressed.
Naturally, they couldn’t just ignore the poor little thing. They knew the kitten must have been terrified, so they had to stop and figure out how they could help.
Little did they know that this little kitten would have a profound impact on Officer Rowsey’s life.
They decided to search the neighborhood, hoping to find the kitten’s mother or someone who knew its owner. Unfortunately, their efforts turned up nothing. It was evident that this little kitten had no place to call home.
By this time, the frightened kitten had calmed down significantly. Officer Rowsey gently wrapped her in a towel and showered her with cuddles.
As time went on, the little tabby grew more confident and found her way onto Officer Rowsey’s shoulders and into her heart.
Officer Rowsey couldn’t resist falling head over heels for the adorable kitten. She made the decision to adopt her and gave her the name Dobby.
Next, Officer Rowsey took Dobby to the vet for a check-up. The vet estimated that she was around six weeks old and, thankfully, she received a clean bill of health.
Both Officer Rowsey and Dobby were overjoyed to have each other in their lives. What seemed like a regular day on patrol turned into a life-changing event for both of them. This sweet tabby now had a forever home with a loving and caring human.
And look at her now! Dobby has blossomed into a beautiful kitty, bringing joy and happiness to Officer Rowsey’s life every day.
