Picture this: it’s a cold evening and Imgur user, PW, is walking to his car when a tiny ginger kitten appears out of nowhere and runs straight towards him as if they were old friends.
Talk about a meet-cute!
PW knew he couldn’t leave the little furball out in the cold, so he scooped her up and took her home with him.
To ensure the kitten was safe and sound, PW set up a cozy box for her in his garage for the night.
The next day, he posted pictures of her on Facebook in hopes of finding her owners.
But alas, no one came forward to claim the little kitten.
PW took her to the local animal shelter to see if she had a microchip, but no luck there either.
However, being the kind-hearted person he is, PW agreed to foster the kitten until she was big enough to be spayed.
He even had the clever idea of getting her surgery and vaccinations at a discounted price. “I thought about naming her Sunbeam or Biscuit,” PW shared.
As it turns out, the kitten was a stray and PW was the purrfect foster parent for her.
“She was now weighing over 2lb so was big enough for her surgery, and then PW would be able to officially adopt her, he decided on the name Biscuit!”
After only a week of being together, Biscuit and PW had formed an unbreakable bond.
It’s amazing how a chance encounter in a car park could lead to a lifelong friendship.
As PW put it, “a chance meeting in a car park one evening resulted in making one man and one kitten very happy.” What a meowvelous story!
