Enter Mindy, a compassionate soul and a resident of the same community. Mindy, an employee at Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control, swiftly came to Toodles’ rescue. She rushed the injured cat to the shelter, ensuring she received the necessary veterinary care.
Upon Toodles’ arrival at the shelter, a heartwarming revelation unfolded—Toodles was not just a cat; she was a new mom. Mindy wasted no time initiating the search for Toodles’ precious litter of kittens.
“Toodles was lactating and clearly had recently had kittens,” shared a shelter spokesperson. “Mindy alerted her neighbors to be on the lookout for kittens. Five were found under a mobile home, and Mindy rushed them to the shelter.”
