Get ready to meet the cutest dog and cat siblings you’ll ever see!
Cinder and Bridger McPurr are a dynamic duo that can’t get enough of each other’s love.
These two adorable furballs are a part of Mojo’s Hope, a nonprofit rescue group in Anchorage, Alaska.
Cinder’s journey to Mojo’s Hope began in 2015 when she was found in the woods by a hiker with a litter of puppies.
She was lacking socialization and was very fearful, but after six months of love and care at Mat-Su Valley Shelter, she was transferred to Mojo’s Hope.
Since then, Cinder has become an extraordinary mentor for every new rescue that came into the program, especially cats.
In July 2022, Mojo’s Hope welcomed a new kitty in need, Bridger McPurr.
Bridger was found outside in the cold and unable to move his legs. He was brought to Anchorage Animal Care and Control, where he received emergency medical care.
Bridger’s legs were still not working properly, but his spirits were high.
Soon after, Bridger arrived at Mojo’s Hope as a foster, ready to spread love to his new family.
Basner knew that Cinder would make a good buddy for Bridger because of his love for cuddles. Cinder was cautious at first, knowing that Bridger was fragile, but the sweet cat didn’t hold back when it came to loving up on his dog sister.
The loving duo have been attached to each other ever since.
According to Basner, Bridger will snuggle up alongside Cinder and paw gently at her face.
He purrs loudly while doing so, and it’s beyond precious. While Cinder is a permanent resident of Mojo’s Hope, Bridger is looking for a loving forever home.
But his family at Mojo’s Hope are in no rush to say goodbye to the cuddly cat. They would love for Bridger to connect with a wonderful home, but until then, he will continue to be well-loved, cared for, and will always be a member of their Mojo’s Hope family.
