Ella has a knack for getting exactly what she wants, and every morning, what she desires is to lounge in the living room and catch up on her favorite cartoons and movies.
Her owner, Emily Kalaygian, shared, “In the morning, she usually waits by my door, or screams when she’s feeling fancy, and I will pick a show to watch to see if it’s something she’d enjoy.”
Ella’s peculiar morning TV ritual has its roots in Emily’s experiment of turning on a movie for background noise. The first time Ella glimpsed the flickering screen, she was hooked. Her cinematic journey began with “The Grinch,” and since then, there’s been no turning back.
“As we were stuck inside with her and the TV, it only grew from there,” Emily explained. Ella’s preferences evolved, and she now has a discerning taste in shows. Her go-to favorites include “Oswald” and “Phineas and Ferb.”
To share Ella’s unique entertainment routine with the world, Emily decided to create dedicated TikTok and Instagram accounts, aptly named “ellawatchestv_.” The move proved to be a hit, attracting around 600,000 users daily who eagerly tune in to witness Ella’s morning TV escapades.
While Ella’s morning routine remains consistent, her tastes vary, keeping Emily on her toes. “Her favorite show currently is Oswald. We have watched the episodes on Paramount+ on a loop it feels like,” Emily shared.
Ella’s growing fan base is actively engaged, suggesting new shows in the comments, ensuring that Ella’s cat-toon watchlist is always expanding. With Ella leading the charge, the world of feline TV enthusiasts is in for a purr-fectly entertaining ride!
