Lisa and her husband welcomed Max, their Maine Coon cat, into their home three years back. But here’s the twist: Max, the furry feline, seemed to have a special bond with Lisa’s husband from the get-go. He was always glued to his dad, following him everywhere and snuggling up for naps on his chest.
“When Max first came home with us, he was all about my husband,” Lisa shared. “He’d cozy up on his chest, purring away, and even meowed for him to pick him up. As for me? Not so much.”
But one day, everything changed. Lisa came back from work, and to her surprise, Max greeted her with loud meows. It was unusual – Max had never been this vocal with her before. Maybe he sensed something different about Lisa.
From then on, Max seemed like he couldn’t get enough of her attention. He’d practically beg for it whenever she was around.
Then came the really surprising part. Max, the once distant cat, started getting super cozy with Lisa, especially at night. He went from sleeping by her legs to snuggling up on her stomach.
It didn’t take long for Lisa to connect the dots. After a few days of this newfound affection, she decided to take a test. Lo and behold, she found out she was pregnant!
Since then, Max has been a constant companion by Lisa’s side, almost like he’s keeping a watchful eye over her belly, making sure the baby inside stays safe and warm.
