One sunny day in the suburbs of Chicago, a woman stumbled upon a cardboard box sitting on her porch. To her surprise, nestled inside was a tiny kitten, looking lost and forlorn. But her heart sank further when she noticed a sizable wound on his neck. Without a moment’s hesitation, she whisked him off to the vet for urgent care.

After thorough examination, they discovered he had a rare genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, earning him the endearing nickname of a ‘glass kitten’ due to his fragility.
Despite the challenges, Elsie was undeterred. Outfitting Porg in specially made clothes to protect his delicate skin became routine, but it was clear that he had found his forever home with Elsie.
“He’s not just a foster anymore; he’s family,” Elsie beams, sharing how Porg’s playful antics and affectionate nature have brought immeasurable joy into their lives. “We’ve faced our fair share of hurdles, but seeing him thrive makes it all worth it.”
As Porg grows, so does his vibrant personality. He’s a bundle of energy, always eager for playtime and cuddles, melting hearts wherever he goes. “We share a special bond with him,” says Elsie, her voice filled with warmth and affection.
