Prepare to feel warm and fuzzy inside because we’ve got a heartwarming story that will make you believe in the power of friendship and love.
Meet Mojo and Max, two feline friends who were dropped off at Friends of Anne Arundel County Animal Control in Maryland.
They had each other’s back through thick and thin, but unfortunately, they were separated when they arrived at the shelter and placed in different cages.
Luckily, Mojo caught the eye of a kind woman who adopted him.
However, even though she gave Mojo a loving home, she couldn’t stop thinking about his best friend, Max, who was still living in a lonely cage.
“The idea of him living out his life in a cage just broke my heart,” she said.
So, what did she do? She went back to the shelter to adopt Max as well, reuniting these two furry besties once and for all.
The shelter shared the heartwarming reunion on Facebook, writing, “See the tender photo of Max meeting his forever human and is on his way to reunite with his best friend, Mojo.”
It’s stories like these that remind us of the power of love and friendship, even in the animal world.
As the saying goes, “friends are the family we choose for ourselves,” and Mojo and Max are the purrfect example of that.
