One of these kitties, Jagger, turned out to be quite the adventurer. Aoife, being the responsible pet parent she is, wanted to keep an eye on her cats’ outdoor escapades. She shared a video of the tracking results on her TikTok, and the internet went wild – especially because of Jagger’s unexpected antics.
In her TikTok post, Aoife humorously wrote, “So not sure if genius or invasion of privacy, but I am entertained.” And entertained she wasn’t alone. The video garnered a whopping 389,000 views and 42,000 likes!
The tracker data confirmed what Aoife suspected – Jagger was a wanderer. But his explorations weren’t just limited to the neighborhood. This cat had a full-fledged agenda! The video showcases him sauntering to five different houses, sometimes even spending considerable time indoors.
Aoife revealed, “I knew that she visited a few houses […] and was super shocked to see she visited many houses and it looks like she was fed at many also. More interestingly, she actually stayed there for some time.” It turns out, Jagger has become such a regular at one particular household that he’s living a secret life as “Peter”.
Now, let’s talk about the other cat in the equation – Cookie. While Jagger had a penchant for exploration, Cookie didn’t share the same level of wanderlust. So, unsurprisingly, the tracking data for Cookie’s outdoor adventures was far less eventful.
Aoife shared a second cat tracking video on TikTok, featuring Cookie’s limited adventures. Predictably, this video attracted fewer views, as users were much more intrigued by Jagger’s escapades.
Despite the differing travel tendencies of her two feline companions, Aoife loves them both equally. Whether they’re roaming far and wide or enjoying the comfort of home, her cats hold a special place in her heart.
However, some witty commenters couldn’t help but suggest that Aoife might want to keep a closer eye on Jagger, aka “Peter,” who seems to have a penchant for making himself at home on other people’s couches.
