Have you ever heard of a kitten whisperer? Well, Reddit user GJones26 might just be one! When he stumbled upon a litter of stray kittens in downtown Atlanta, he immediately called his daughter to help him rescue the little balls of fur.
“We made it our mission to trap these little guys in a trap we had,” he said. The rescue mission took weeks, but they finally caught one little kitten. Unfortunately, one of their traps was stolen, but they didn’t let that stop them.
“Finally, after checking the trap religiously every morning we caught this little guy!” he exclaimed.
They rushed the tiny ginger kitten to the vet, who told them that the kitten was too “feral” to be adopted and should be released back into the wild. But GJones26 and his daughter couldn’t bear to let the kitten go.
“He’s officially taken over his human’s bed,” GJones26 shared, and added, “Honestly, how could I give up such a sweet little loving baby?”
The kitten may have had a rough start, being infested with fleas and all, but with GJones26 and his daughter, he’s now fully recovered and enjoying his new home. As they say, maybe all he needed was someone to believe in him.
